Samantha Fiori is a Massachusetts-based acrylic painter whose work is rooted in a deep sense of place, community, and wonder. Her art is an expression of love for the changing light of a familiar shoreline, the people and place that raised her, and the divine that dwells within. Working primarily in acrylic, Fiori explores color, scale, and texture to create paintings that feel both grounded and expansive. She is curious about how these elements can shape a viewer’s experience, while also serving as a meditative practice for herself as the painter. Her most recent work unfolded on canvas while she faced immense waves of loss, fear, hope, anguish, recovery, and the greatest love. Each canvas is a reflection of the beauty, challenge, and sacred moments scattered across everyday life.

Fiori is blessed beyond compare with the love and support of her husband and the joy they share in their son. These great loves, her background in social work, and a rich spiritual life continue to inform the way she sees art as a means of connection, reflection, and community. When she isn’t painting, Fiori works in international aid and fundraising.

Fiori is a contributing artist to the Attleboro Arts Museum and a member of the Rocky Neck Art Association and Cape Ann Art Association. She is interested in opportunities to exhibit and sell her work, collaborate with other artists, and continue developing her practice.
